Jag ville ta det upp en niv\u00e5&#8230; s\u00e5 tillbaka gick jag f\u00f6r att ta en titt p\u00e5 vad CicloZone handlar om.<span class=\"s1\">By January, I was really feeling the effects of not exercising properly for four months (other than walking &#8211; walking I could do for miles and miles \u2013 good job, given the crazy spaniel!), the effects of Christmas pigging out, the effects of living a sedentary lifestyle \u2013 and just generally wanting to improve my fitness again. Wanting to take it up a level&#8230; s<\/span><span class=\"s1\">o, back I went to have a look what CicloZone is all about. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Det verkade enkelt nog s\u00e5, efter ett snabbt DM till Darren f\u00f6r att visa honom v\u00e5rt val av cykel och fr\u00e5ga om den skulle passa (vilket han bekr\u00e4ftade att det var), var vi p\u00e5 v\u00e4g.<span class=\"s1\">It seemed simple enough so, after a quick DM to Darren to show him our choice of bike and ask if it would be suitable (which he confirmed it was), we were on our way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag laddade ner appen, registrerade mig (i min mans namn \u2013 vet inte riktigt varf\u00f6r, kanske f\u00f6r att uppmuntra honom att f\u00e5 ig\u00e5ng v\u00e4xeln ocks\u00e5!) och vi genomf\u00f6rde v\u00e5ra f\u00f6rsta klasser.<span class=\"s1\">I downloaded the app, signed up (in my husband\u2019s name \u2013 don\u2019t really know why, maybe to encourage him to get his butt into gear too!) and we completed our first classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">S\u00e5, mina tankar efter mina f\u00f6rsta tre sessioner:<span class=\"s1\">So, my thoughts after my initial three sessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our bike isn\u2019t gym quality \u2013 but for now it\u2019s actually OK!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You don\u2019t need to spend thousands of \u00a3\u2019s on a top-of-the-range, fully \u2018bluetoothed\u2019 bike in order to take part.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We both wear<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Fitbits so I\u2019m happy to have the readings from there for now to see how we\u2019re improving over time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Don\u2019t let your husband go through the classes and kindly \u2018choose\u2019 one for you!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>(He managed to do a 30-minute class for his first one back \u2013 picking me a killer of a 45-minute session).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In usual Darren style, the classes are SO easy to follow, just keep to the beat (he says, easier said than done with a manky knee!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Invest in some Bluetooth headphones because sweat will drip into your eyes and you won\u2019t be able to see your screen!<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m starting with a couple of sessions a week, using the on demand service (mainly so I can pick what I want to do) and, at the moment, I\u2019m staying safe with the instructor I know.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">V\u00e5r cykel \u00e4r inte gymkvalitet &#8211; men f\u00f6r tillf\u00e4llet \u00e4r den faktiskt OK!  Du beh\u00f6ver inte spendera tusentals pund p\u00e5 en f\u00f6rstklassig, helt &#8221;bl\u00e5tandad&#8221; cykel f\u00f6r att delta.  Vi b\u00e4r b\u00e5da Fitbits s\u00e5 jag \u00e4r glad \u00f6ver att ha avl\u00e4sningarna d\u00e4rifr\u00e5n f\u00f6r nu f\u00f6r att se hur vi f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttras med tiden.<br \/>\nL\u00e5t inte din man g\u00e5 igenom lektionerna och &#8221;v\u00e4lj&#8221; en \u00e5t dig!  (Han lyckades g\u00f6ra en 30-minuters lektion f\u00f6r sin f\u00f6rsta back \u2013 valde mig en m\u00f6rdare av en 45-minuters session).<br \/>\nI vanlig Darren-stil \u00e4r klasserna S\u00c5 l\u00e4tta att f\u00f6lja, bara h\u00e5ll takten (han s\u00e4ger, l\u00e4ttare sagt \u00e4n gjort med ett manky kn\u00e4!)<br \/>\nInvestera i n\u00e5gra Bluetooth-h\u00f6rlurar eftersom svett kommer att droppa i dina \u00f6gon och du kommer inte att kunna se din sk\u00e4rm!<br \/>\nJag b\u00f6rjar med ett par sessioner i veckan, anv\u00e4nder on demand-tj\u00e4nsten (fr\u00e4mst s\u00e5 att jag kan v\u00e4lja vad jag vill g\u00f6ra) och f\u00f6r tillf\u00e4llet h\u00e5ller jag mig s\u00e4ker med den instrukt\u00f6r jag k\u00e4nner.<br \/>\nJag vet inte om jag \u00e4r lite f\u00f6r tidig att g\u00e5 direkt tillbaka till den h\u00e4r tr\u00e4ningsniv\u00e5n bara sex m\u00e5nader efter operationen men jag kommer att h\u00e5lla dig uppdaterad.  Jag har f\u00f6rvisso k\u00e4nt f\u00f6rdelen med konditionen efter bara tre pass, men mitt ben, d\u00e4r metallarbetet sitter h\u00f6gst upp p\u00e5 smalbenet, \u00e4r inte s\u00e5 f\u00f6rtjust i att 85-90 varv per minut st\u00e5r och jag f\u00e5r en liten svullnad efter\u00e5t. Det \u00e4r n\u00e4stan som att senan nerf\u00f6r mitt smalben inte blir glad av att bli ombedd att l\u00e4gga ner ordentligt arbete efter alla dessa m\u00e5naders vila&#8230;!<span class=\"s1\">I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m a bit premature going straight back into this level of exercise only six months post op but I\u2019ll keep you posted.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve certainly felt the benefit fitness wise after only three sessions but my leg, where the metal work sits at the top of my shin, isn\u2019t too fond of the 85-90RPMs standing and I am getting some slight swelling afterwards. It\u2019s almost like the tendon down my shin isn\u2019t happy being asked to put in some proper work after all these months of rest\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag har lagt upp mina tre f\u00f6rsta l\u00e4sningar fr\u00e5n min Fitbit i bloggfotot s\u00e5 ta g\u00e4rna en titt.
