Mina v\u00e4nner kallar mig bara Tony. Jag \u00e4r en egenf\u00f6retagare p\u00e5 trettio \u00e5r och 5 fot 4 tum l\u00e5ng, samma som min pappa. Det hindrar mig inte fr\u00e5n att g\u00f6ra n\u00e5gonting, f\u00f6rutom att vara polis, antar jag&#8230;!<span class=\"s1\">Hi there, m<\/span><span class=\"s1\">y name is Anthony Robinson. My friends just call me Tony. I am a self employed decorator of thirty plus years and 5 feet 4 inches tall, same as my dad. It doesn\u2019t stop me from doing anything, apart from being a policeman, I suppose\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag b\u00f6rjade med konditionstr\u00e4ning runt 18 \u00e5rs \u00e5lder efter en fluffig kommentar om min vikt fr\u00e5n en v\u00e4n. Det fungerade och jag b\u00f6rjade \u00e4ta och tr\u00e4na f\u00f6r att bli piggare. Jag gick ner en bit i vikt och t\u00e4nkte &#8221;ja, \u00e4r jag inte v\u00e4ltr\u00e4nad&#8221;?!<span class=\"s1\">I started fitness training around the age of 18 after a glib comment about my weight from a friend. It worked and I began eating and training to get fitter. I lost a chunk of weight and thought \u2018well aren\u2019t I fit\u2019?!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Vid 23 \u00e5rs \u00e5lder b\u00f6rjade jag med karate \u2013 nu n\u00e4r jag \u00e4r i form \u2013 och jag \u00e4lskade det, slutade inte f\u00f6rr\u00e4n jag \u00e5kte och bodde i Kanada i ett \u00e5r och sedan, hemma ett \u00e5r senare, sprang jag fortfarande lite men f\u00f6ll ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r promenader \u2013 en annan av mina favoritaktiviteter, som du kan se p\u00e5 bilden. Jag har slutf\u00f6rt 149 Wainwrights hittills.<span class=\"s1\">At around 23, I took up Karate &#8211; now that IS fit &#8211; and I loved it, didn\u2019t stop until I went to live in Canada for a year and then, back home a year later,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I was still running a bit but also fell walking &#8211; another of my favourite activities, as you\u2019ll see from the photo. I\u2019ve completed 149 Wainwrights so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Vid sidan av fj\u00e4llvandringen b\u00f6rjade jag cirkeltr\u00e4na med ett g\u00e4ng judokillar jag tr\u00e4ffade \u2013 inte min sport, judo \u2013 en riktigt tuff s\u00e5dan men inte f\u00f6r mig. Men jag \u00e4lskade kretsar och slutade bara p\u00e5 grund av COVID-19.<span class=\"s1\">Alongside the fell walking, I started circuit training with a bunch of Judo guys I met &#8211; not my sport, Judo &#8211; a real tough one but not for me. But I loved circuits and only stopped because of COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the saddle<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">I sadeln<br \/>\nHur som helst, f\u00f6r ca 4 \u00e5r sedan b\u00f6rjade jag cykla.  Jag beh\u00f6vde n\u00e5got med l\u00e5g effekt eftersom tiden inte \u00e4r sn\u00e4ll och sedan 40-\u00e5rs\u00e5ldern \u00e4r vikten sv\u00e5rare att flytta. Jag gillade det verkligen. Faktum \u00e4r att bredvid att vara p\u00e5 fj\u00e4llet finns det ingen b\u00e4ttre k\u00e4nsla \u00e4n att sitta p\u00e5 din cykel och utmana dig sj\u00e4lv.<span class=\"s1\">Anyway, about 4 years ago I started cycling.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I needed something low impact because time isn\u2019t kind and, since my 40s, weight is harder to shift. I really liked it. In fact, next to being on the fells there is no better feeling than being on your bike challenging yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag har gjort olika 100 mils utmaningar \u2013 Coast to Coast p\u00e5 en dag och Le Jog (926 miles p\u00e5 12 dagar). Hur som helst, med att vara astmatisk k\u00e4mpar jag ibland om jag inte f\u00e5r r\u00e4tt balans.<span class=\"s1\">I have done various 100 mile challenges &#8211; the Coast to Coast in a day and Le Jog (926 miles in 12 days). Anyway, with being asthmatic I do sometimes struggle if I don\u2019t get the balance correct.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">N\u00e4r den senaste l\u00e5sningen tillk\u00e4nnagavs best\u00e4mde jag mig f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka h\u00e5lla mig sysselsatt och eftersom arbetet hade torkat ut f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen n\u00e5gonsin, best\u00e4mde jag mig f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla mig i form.<span class=\"s1\">When the most recent lockdown was announced, I decided to try and stay busy and, because work had dried up for the first time ever, I decided to keep fit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag letade efter en ny spin-cykel vid den h\u00e4r tiden och minskade den till tre cyklar, och valde slutligen Keizer M3i. Min f\u00f6rsta \u00e5ktur p\u00e5 den fick mig att undra vad jag hade gjort men jag laddade ner Keizer-appen och tillsammans med Spinnervals DVD-skivor gick det bra \u2013 jag b\u00f6rjade faktiskt till och med njuta av M3i.<span class=\"s1\">I was looking for a new spin bike around this time and narrowed it down to three bikes, ultimately choosing the Keiser M3i. My first ride on it left me wondering what I\u2019d done but I downloaded the Keiser app and, along with the Spinnervals DVDs,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I was doing ok &#8211; in fact I even started enjoying the M3i. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ungef\u00e4r vid denna tidpunkt p\u00e5 Facebook gick jag med i anv\u00e4ndargruppen M3 i och fick massor av bra tips. Det var h\u00e4r jag st\u00f6tte p\u00e5 Darren Lee. Han hade skickat en v\u00e4nf\u00f6rfr\u00e5gan till mig och vi utbytte n\u00e5gra ord. Strax efter n\u00e4mnde han att han arbetade med den h\u00e4r nya appen, CicloZone.<span class=\"s1\">At about this time on Facebook, I joined the M3 i users group and picked up lots of great tips. This is where I came across Darren Lee. He\u2019d sent me a friend request and we exchanged a few words. Shortly after, he mentioned he was working on this new app, CicloZone.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">D\u00e4rifr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjade jag anv\u00e4nda appen och tyckte den var bra \u2013 jag gillade den! Det finns gott om val f\u00f6r ett strukturerat tr\u00e4ningspass, vilket verkligen hj\u00e4lper till med utomhuscykling ocks\u00e5. Sedan kom game changer&#8230; han introducerade FTP till plattformen!<span class=\"s1\">From there I started using the app and thought it was good &#8211; I enjoyed it! There\u2019s plenty of choice for a structured workout, which really helps with outdoor cycling too. Then came the game changer\u2026 he introduced FTP to the platform!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">37 rides in 37 days<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">37 \u00e5k p\u00e5 37 dagar<br \/>\nJag k\u00f6rde ganska m\u00e5nga CicloZone-tr\u00e4ningar vid det h\u00e4r laget, ibland tv\u00e5 eller fler \u00e5t g\u00e5ngen, men efter FTP h\u00f6ll det p\u00e5 att \u00e4ndras.<span class=\"s1\">I was doing quite a lot of CicloZone workouts by this time, sometimes two or more at a time but, post FTP, that was about to change. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Den 30 december \u00f6kade jag min FTP till 140 och fyra eller fem turer in p\u00e5 det nya \u00e5ret best\u00e4mde jag mig f\u00f6r att utmana mig sj\u00e4lv genom att ta en CicloZone-tur varje dag.  S\u00e5 jag gjorde det \u2013 fr\u00e5n de tv\u00e5 sista dagarna i december till 4 februari cyklade jag med CicloZone varje dag, tills jag ins\u00e5g att jag b\u00f6rjade g\u00e5 bakl\u00e4nges eftersom jag inte tog tillr\u00e4ckligt med vilodagar.<span class=\"s1\">On 30 December, I increased my FTP to 140 and four or five rides into the New Year, I decided I\u2019d challenge myself by taking a CicloZone ride every day.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>So I did &#8211; from the last two days in December until 4 February, I rode with CicloZone every day, until I realised I was beginning to go backwards because I wasn\u2019t taking enough rest days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Trots detta \u00f6kade min FTP till 182, vilket \u00e4r fantastiskt!<span class=\"s1\">Despite this, my FTP increased to 182, which is amazing!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jag k\u00e4mpade ett tag efter\u00e5t, p\u00e5 grund av att jag inte vilade tillr\u00e4ckligt som jag insett, men efter att ha pratat med Darren s\u00e4nkte jag min FTP till 174 och nyligen, p\u00e5 min 60-\u00e5rsdag, gick jag faktiskt tre CicloZone-klasser efter varandra!<span class=\"s1\">I did struggle for a while afterwards, due to not resting enough as I\u2019d realised, but after talking to Darren, I dropped my FTP to 174 and recently, on my 60th birthday, I actually took three CicloZone classes one after the other! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Appen \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt smart uppbyggd, inte bara f\u00f6r fantastiska cyklister utan f\u00f6r den vanliga killen p\u00e5 gatan, som jag.<span class=\"s1\">The app is very cleverly structured, not just for great cyclists but for the average guy in the street, like me. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Oavsett din konditionsniv\u00e5 i b\u00f6rjan, kommer det att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra din uth\u00e5llighet och din styrka, s\u00e5v\u00e4l som ditt sinne!<span class=\"s1\">No matter your level of fitness at the start, it will improve your stamina and your strength, as well as your mind! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Det b\u00e4sta \u00e4r att \u00e4ven om Darren \u00e4r en upptagen man, \u00e4r han alltid tillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r att ge dig r\u00e5d. Respektera!<span class=\"s1\">The best thing is, although Darren is a busy man, he is always available to give you advice. Respect! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">S\u00e5, vad \u00e4r n\u00e4sta? Forts\u00e4tt f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra dig och ge dig ut p\u00e5 v\u00e4garna f\u00f6r att sk\u00f6rda frukterna. CicloZone har gett mig en rej\u00e4l konditionsboost och utvecklas hela tiden. Jag planerar att utvecklas med det!!<span class=\"s1\">So, what\u2019s next? Keep improving and get out on the roads to reap the rewards.
