Porque deve pedalar com o CicloZone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\">Quando era mais novo, andar de bicicleta tinha tudo a ver com competi\u00e7\u00e3o, corrida e treino de qualquer forma para me tornar um ciclista mais potente e andar mais r\u00e1pido. Nunca pensei em envelhecer &#8211; como todos fazemos quando temos 20 anos. Mas a vida alcan\u00e7a-o muito rapidamente &#8211; os anos v\u00eam e v\u00e3o e antes que se aperceba, est\u00e1 a olhar para o seu 30\u00ba ano, depois para o seu 40\u00ba e depois para o seu 50\u00ba ano a aparecer no horizonte. Para al\u00e9m dos cabelos brancos e dos \u00f3culos de leitura, n\u00e3o me apercebi realmente da minha idade, pois parecia estar a afetar alguns dos meus amigos que n\u00e3o andavam de bicicleta\u2026 e era \u00f3bvio que a forma como pedalava e treinava para pedalar era a raz\u00e3o pela qual n\u00e3o parecia envelhecer da mesma forma que muitos dos meus amigos.<span class=\"s1\">When I was younger, riding a bike was all about the competition all about the race and all about training in any way to become a more powerful cyclist and ride faster. I never thought about getting old &#8211; as well all do when we are 20. But all too quickly life catches up with you &#8211; the years come and go and before you know it you&#8217;re looking at your 30th then your 40th and then your 50th year looming over the horizon. Apart from the grey hair and reading glasses, I didn\u2019t really notice my age in the way it seemed to be affecting some of my non cycling friends&#8230; and it was obvious that the way I cycled and trained to cycle was the reason I didn&#8217;t seem to age in the same way a lot of my friends did. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Acontece que a metodologia e os princ\u00edpios de treino que eu tinha seguido t\u00e3o estritamente na minha juventude estavam agora a retribuir-me com interesse na minha meia-idade: os meus n\u00edveis de energia, a minha mobilidade, a minha aus\u00eancia de les\u00f5es, a minha aus\u00eancia de dor eram, no in\u00edcio, apenas um assunto de conversa no bar. But later, it had my friends questioning me about how they could achieve what I was achieving and my answer was simple: They needed to start to cycle, but do it with an understanding of <a href=\"#\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">what is actually happening physiologically<\/a> when rotating a pedal at different intensities and different speeds. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Muitos dos meus amigos fizeram isso, juntaram-se a mim na bicicleta, e a mudan\u00e7a foi not\u00e1vel tanto na for\u00e7a f\u00edsica como na perda de peso, mas, mais importante, na mobilidade e na funcionalidade geral.<span class=\"s1\">A lot of my friends did this, joined me on the bike, and the change was remarkable both in physical strength and weight loss but, more importantly, mobility and general functionality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Eu j\u00e1 estava a ensinar treino de zona de pot\u00eancia nas minhas aulas de ciclismo indoor para Keiser em todo o mundo, mas sabia que era o mundo digital virtual on-demand do ciclismo que me permitiria levar o meu treino a um grande p\u00fablico.<span class=\"s1\">I was already teaching <a href=\"#\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">power zone training<\/a> in my indoor cycle classes for Keiser all over the world but I knew it was the virtual on demand digital world of cycling that would allow me to take my training to a huge audience. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">De um lado, vi o Zwift \u2013 uma plataforma competitiva baseada em energia para ciclistas. Avatar based and gamefied, this platform certainly appealed to the weekend warriors tucked away in their basements and garages. On the other side, Peloton &#8211; with more hair flicks and would-be &#8216;fitness influencers&#8217; than you can shake a stick at, but instructor-led and music-based, so not all bad. What i wanted though was a hybrid of the two.
