Querendo subir de n\u00edvel\u2026 por isso voltei para dar uma vista de olhos ao que \u00e9 o CicloZone.<span class=\"s1\">By January, I was really feeling the effects of not exercising properly for four months (other than walking &#8211; walking I could do for miles and miles \u2013 good job, given the crazy spaniel!), the effects of Christmas pigging out, the effects of living a sedentary lifestyle \u2013 and just generally wanting to improve my fitness again. Wanting to take it up a level&#8230; s<\/span><span class=\"s1\">o, back I went to have a look what CicloZone is all about. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Parecia bastante simples, por isso, depois de um r\u00e1pido DM para o Darren para lhe mostrar a nossa escolha de bicicleta e perguntar se seria adequada (o que ele confirmou que era), est\u00e1vamos a caminho.<span class=\"s1\">It seemed simple enough so, after a quick DM to Darren to show him our choice of bike and ask if it would be suitable (which he confirmed it was), we were on our way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Fiz o download da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, inscrevi-me (em nome do meu marido \u2013 n\u00e3o sei bem porqu\u00ea, talvez para o incentivar a p\u00f4r o rabo em a\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m!) e conclu\u00edmos as nossas primeiras aulas.<span class=\"s1\">I downloaded the app, signed up (in my husband\u2019s name \u2013 don\u2019t really know why, maybe to encourage him to get his butt into gear too!) and we completed our first classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Assim, os meus pensamentos ap\u00f3s as minhas tr\u00eas sess\u00f5es iniciais:<span class=\"s1\">So, my thoughts after my initial three sessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our bike isn\u2019t gym quality \u2013 but for now it\u2019s actually OK!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You don\u2019t need to spend thousands of \u00a3\u2019s on a top-of-the-range, fully \u2018bluetoothed\u2019 bike in order to take part.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We both wear<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Fitbits so I\u2019m happy to have the readings from there for now to see how we\u2019re improving over time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Don\u2019t let your husband go through the classes and kindly \u2018choose\u2019 one for you!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>(He managed to do a 30-minute class for his first one back \u2013 picking me a killer of a 45-minute session).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In usual Darren style, the classes are SO easy to follow, just keep to the beat (he says, easier said than done with a manky knee!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Invest in some Bluetooth headphones because sweat will drip into your eyes and you won\u2019t be able to see your screen!<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m starting with a couple of sessions a week, using the on demand service (mainly so I can pick what I want to do) and, at the moment, I\u2019m staying safe with the instructor I know.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">A nossa bicicleta n\u00e3o \u00e9 de qualidade para gin\u00e1sio \u2013 mas por enquanto est\u00e1 OK!  N\u00e3o precisa de gastar milhares de libras numa bicicleta topo de gama e totalmente \u201cbluetooth\u201d para participar.  Ambos usamos Fitbits, por isso estou feliz por ter as leituras de l\u00e1 por enquanto para ver como estamos a melhorar com o tempo.<br \/>\nN\u00e3o deixe o seu marido assistir \u00e0s aulas e \u2018escolha\u2019 gentilmente uma para si!  (Ele conseguiu fazer uma aula de 30 minutos para a primeira volta \u2013 escolhendo para mim uma sess\u00e3o matadora de 45 minutos).<br \/>\nNo estilo habitual do Darren, as aulas s\u00e3o T\u00c3O f\u00e1ceis de seguir, basta manter o ritmo (diz ele, \u00e9 mais f\u00e1cil dizer do que fazer com um joelho magoado!)<br \/>\nInvista em alguns auscultadores Bluetooth porque o suor escorrer\u00e1 para os seus olhos e n\u00e3o conseguir\u00e1 ver o ecr\u00e3!<br \/>\nEstou a come\u00e7ar com algumas sess\u00f5es por semana, utilizando o servi\u00e7o on-demand (principalmente para poder escolher o que quero fazer) e, neste momento, estou seguro com o instrutor que conhe\u00e7o.<br \/>\nN\u00e3o sei se sou um pouco prematuro voltar diretamente a este n\u00edvel de exerc\u00edcio apenas seis meses ap\u00f3s a opera\u00e7\u00e3o, mas vou mant\u00ea-los informados.  Certamente senti o benef\u00edcio do fitness ap\u00f3s apenas tr\u00eas sess\u00f5es, mas a minha perna, onde o trabalho de metal fica no topo da minha canela, n\u00e3o gosta muito dos 85-90 RPMs em p\u00e9 e estou a sentir um ligeiro incha\u00e7o depois. \u00c9 quase como se o tend\u00e3o da minha canela n\u00e3o estivesse feliz por me pedirem para fazer um trabalho adequado depois de todos estes meses de descanso\u2026!<span class=\"s1\">I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m a bit premature going straight back into this level of exercise only six months post op but I\u2019ll keep you posted.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve certainly felt the benefit fitness wise after only three sessions but my leg, where the metal work sits at the top of my shin, isn\u2019t too fond of the 85-90RPMs standing and I am getting some slight swelling afterwards. It\u2019s almost like the tendon down my shin isn\u2019t happy being asked to put in some proper work after all these months of rest\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Publiquei as minhas tr\u00eas primeiras leituras do meu Fitbit na foto do blogue, por isso sintam-se \u00e0 vontade para dar uma vista de olhos.
