Isso n\u00e3o me impede de fazer nada, para al\u00e9m de ser pol\u00edcia, suponho\u2026!<span class=\"s1\">Hi there, m<\/span><span class=\"s1\">y name is Anthony Robinson. My friends just call me Tony. I am a self employed decorator of thirty plus years and 5 feet 4 inches tall, same as my dad. It doesn\u2019t stop me from doing anything, apart from being a policeman, I suppose\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Comecei o treino f\u00edsico por volta dos 18 anos, ap\u00f3s um coment\u00e1rio superficial de um amigo sobre o meu peso. Funcionou e comecei a comer e a treinar para ficar em forma. Perdi um pouco de peso e pensei \u2018bem, n\u00e3o estou em forma\u2019?!<span class=\"s1\">I started fitness training around the age of 18 after a glib comment about my weight from a friend. It worked and I began eating and training to get fitter. I lost a chunk of weight and thought \u2018well aren\u2019t I fit\u2019?!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Por volta dos 23 anos comecei a praticar Karat\u00e9 \u2013 agora que j\u00e1 estou em forma \u2013 e adorei, n\u00e3o parei at\u00e9 ir viver para o Canad\u00e1 durante um ano e depois, regressando a casa um ano depois, ainda corria um pouco, mas tamb\u00e9m ca\u00ed a p\u00e9 \u2013 outra das minhas atividades favoritas, como podem ver na foto. Conclu\u00ed 149 Wainwrights at\u00e9 ao momento.<span class=\"s1\">At around 23, I took up Karate &#8211; now that IS fit &#8211; and I loved it, didn\u2019t stop until I went to live in Canada for a year and then, back home a year later,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I was still running a bit but also fell walking &#8211; another of my favourite activities, as you\u2019ll see from the photo. I\u2019ve completed 149 Wainwrights so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A par da caminhada, comecei a treinar em circuito com um grupo de judo que conheci \u2013 n\u00e3o \u00e9 o meu desporto, o judo \u2013 um desporto muito dif\u00edcil, mas n\u00e3o para mim. Mas eu adorava circuitos e s\u00f3 parei por causa do COVID-19.<span class=\"s1\">Alongside the fell walking, I started circuit training with a bunch of Judo guys I met &#8211; not my sport, Judo &#8211; a real tough one but not for me. But I loved circuits and only stopped because of COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the saddle<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Na sela<br \/>\nEnfim, h\u00e1 cerca de 4 anos comecei a andar de bicicleta.  Precisava de algo de baixo impacto porque o tempo n\u00e3o \u00e9 gentil e, desde os meus 40 anos, \u00e9 mais dif\u00edcil transferir peso. Eu gostei muito. Na verdade, depois de estar nas colinas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 melhor sensa\u00e7\u00e3o do que estar na sua bicicleta a desafiar-se a si mesmo.<span class=\"s1\">Anyway, about 4 years ago I started cycling.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I needed something low impact because time isn\u2019t kind and, since my 40s, weight is harder to shift. I really liked it. In fact, next to being on the fells there is no better feeling than being on your bike challenging yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">J\u00e1 fiz v\u00e1rios desafios de 100 milhas \u2013 Coast to Coast num dia e Le Jog (926 milhas em 12 dias). De qualquer forma, por ser asm\u00e1tico, por vezes tenho dificuldade se n\u00e3o conseguir o equil\u00edbrio correto.<span class=\"s1\">I have done various 100 mile challenges &#8211; the Coast to Coast in a day and Le Jog (926 miles in 12 days). Anyway, with being asthmatic I do sometimes struggle if I don\u2019t get the balance correct.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Quando o \u00faltimo bloqueio foi anunciado, decidi tentar manter-me ocupado e, como o trabalho tinha acabado pela primeira vez, decidi manter-me em forma.<span class=\"s1\">When the most recent lockdown was announced, I decided to try and stay busy and, because work had dried up for the first time ever, I decided to keep fit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Eu estava \u00e0 procura de uma nova bicicleta de spin nesta altura e reduzi-a a tr\u00eas bicicletas, escolhendo finalmente a Keizer M3i. A minha primeira viagem nele deixou-me a pensar no que tinha feito, mas descarreguei a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o Keizer e, juntamente com os DVDs Spinnervals, estava a correr bem \u2013 na verdade, at\u00e9 comecei a gostar do M3i.<span class=\"s1\">I was looking for a new spin bike around this time and narrowed it down to three bikes, ultimately choosing the Keiser M3i. My first ride on it left me wondering what I\u2019d done but I downloaded the Keiser app and, along with the Spinnervals DVDs,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I was doing ok &#8211; in fact I even started enjoying the M3i. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mais ou menos por esta altura, no Facebook, juntei-me ao grupo de utilizadores do M3 i e recebi muitas dicas excelentes. Foi aqui que encontrei o Darren Lee. Ele enviou-me um pedido de amizade e troc\u00e1mos algumas palavras. Pouco depois, referiu que estava a trabalhar nesta nova aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, o CicloZone.<span class=\"s1\">At about this time on Facebook, I joined the M3 i users group and picked up lots of great tips. This is where I came across Darren Lee. He\u2019d sent me a friend request and we exchanged a few words. Shortly after, he mentioned he was working on this new app, CicloZone.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A partir da\u00ed comecei a usar a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o e achei-a boa \u2013 gostei! Existem muitas op\u00e7\u00f5es para um treino estruturado, o que tamb\u00e9m ajuda muito no ciclismo ao ar livre. Depois veio o ponto de viragem\u2026 ele introduziu o FTP na plataforma!<span class=\"s1\">From there I started using the app and thought it was good &#8211; I enjoyed it! There\u2019s plenty of choice for a structured workout, which really helps with outdoor cycling too. Then came the game changer\u2026 he introduced FTP to the platform!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">37 rides in 37 days<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">37 viagens em 37 dias<br \/>\nEu estava a fazer muitos treinos CicloZone nesta altura, \u00e0s vezes dois ou mais de cada vez, mas, ap\u00f3s o FTP, isso estava prestes a mudar.<span class=\"s1\">I was doing quite a lot of CicloZone workouts by this time, sometimes two or more at a time but, post FTP, that was about to change. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">No dia 30 de Dezembro, aumentei o meu FTP para 140 e quatro ou cinco voltas no Ano Novo, decidi que me iria desafiar fazendo uma volta no CicloZone todos os dias.  Foi o que fiz \u2013 desde os \u00faltimos dois dias de dezembro at\u00e9 4 de fevereiro, andei com o CicloZone todos os dias, at\u00e9 perceber que estava a come\u00e7ar a retroceder porque n\u00e3o estava a ter dias de descanso suficientes.<span class=\"s1\">On 30 December, I increased my FTP to 140 and four or five rides into the New Year, I decided I\u2019d challenge myself by taking a CicloZone ride every day.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>So I did &#8211; from the last two days in December until 4 February, I rode with CicloZone every day, until I realised I was beginning to go backwards because I wasn\u2019t taking enough rest days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Apesar disso, o meu FTP aumentou para 182, o que \u00e9 incr\u00edvel!<span class=\"s1\">Despite this, my FTP increased to 182, which is amazing!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Depois disso, debati-me um pouco, por n\u00e3o ter descansado o suficiente como tinha percebido, mas depois de falar com o Darren, baixei o meu FTP para o 174 e recentemente, no meu 60\u00ba anivers\u00e1rio, tive tr\u00eas aulas de CicloZone, uma ap\u00f3s a outra!<span class=\"s1\">I did struggle for a while afterwards, due to not resting enough as I\u2019d realised, but after talking to Darren, I dropped my FTP to 174 and recently, on my 60th birthday, I actually took three CicloZone classes one after the other! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 estruturada de forma muito inteligente, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 para grandes ciclistas, mas tamb\u00e9m para o cidad\u00e3o comum, como eu.<span class=\"s1\">The app is very cleverly structured, not just for great cyclists but for the average guy in the street, like me. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">N\u00e3o importa o seu n\u00edvel de condicionamento f\u00edsico no in\u00edcio, ir\u00e1 melhorar a sua resist\u00eancia e for\u00e7a, tal como a sua mente!<span class=\"s1\">No matter your level of fitness at the start, it will improve your stamina and your strength, as well as your mind! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">O melhor \u00e9 que, embora Darren seja um homem ocupado, est\u00e1 sempre dispon\u00edvel para lhe dar conselhos. Respeito!<span class=\"s1\">The best thing is, although Darren is a busy man, he is always available to give you advice. Respect! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ent\u00e3o, o que vem a seguir? Continue a melhorar e saia para a estrada para colher os frutos. O CicloZone deu-me um verdadeiro impulso ao condicionamento f\u00edsico e est\u00e1 em constante evolu\u00e7\u00e3o. Pretendo evoluir com isso!!<span class=\"s1\">So, what\u2019s next? Keep improving and get out on the roads to reap the rewards. CicloZone has given me a real fitness boost and is constantly evolving.
