In het leven functioneren de meeste dingen over het algemeen beter als er een zekere balans is. Een evenwicht in de omgeving is altijd een goede zaak en er ontstaan \u200b\u200baltijd problemen als dat evenwicht uit balans raakt. Het is altijd geweldig om iemands dagelijks leven te balanceren tussen werk en vrije tijd, en als het goed is, voel je de voordelen in alle aspecten van het leven. Zelfs in relaties, of dat nu in de liefde of in zaken is, zal een evenwicht tussen mensen en wat ze te bieden hebben aan een relatie hen samen sterker maken dan hun individuele zelf.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dit geldt ook voor het menselijk lichaam en vooral voor de biomechanica die al onze bewegingen regelt waarbij onze gewrichten betrokken zijn, die worden bestuurd door agonistische en antagonistische acties van spieren, die samen en in balans werken om de gezondheid van dat gewricht en dus de effici\u00ebntie van zijn beweging te behouden. Elke onbalans tussen deze twee spieren die samenwerken, zal inherent problemen veroorzaken in het gewricht waarop ze werken. Het meest voor de hand liggende voorbeeld van een samenwerking van een agonistische en antagonistische spier zijn de biceps en triceps. Tijdens een eenvoudige biceps-curl-beweging zal de agonistische spier de biceps zijn terwijl deze samentrekt en de triceps, de antagonist, zal ontspannen, waardoor de biceps-curl kan plaatsvinden. De rollen worden omgedraaid in een triceps-persbeweging waarbij de triceps de agonist wordt en de biceps de antagonist, die in evenwicht samenwerken om de beweging te voltooien.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bij het wielrennen bevindt het belangrijkste voorbeeld hiervan zich tussen onze quadriceps en onze hamstrings. Voor niet-fietsers, zelfs voor extreem fitte personen bij wie de sport of activiteit gepaard gaat met voeten op de grond, zul je een dominantie van de quadriceps in de benen tegenkomen. Deze dominantie wordt in de eerste plaats en eenvoudigweg veroorzaakt door de zwaartekracht die voortdurend op ons lichaam inwerkt en ons voortdurend in de grond onder ons duwt. Elke beweging tegen de zwaartekracht in, zoals rennen, springen of zelfs opstaan \u200b\u200bvanuit een zittende positie, zal voornamelijk de quadriceps rekruteren. Dit resulteert na verloop van tijd in de quad-dominantie waar we het eerder over hadden. Als u dit niet compenseert met goede oefeningen en probeert dit evenwichtsprobleem tussen quad en hamstring aan te pakken, kan dit resulteren in houdingsveranderingen die kunnen resulteren in onbalans en blessures aan enkels, knie\u00ebn en vooral problemen aan de heup, de heupbuiger en de onderrug. Grappig genoeg zijn dit nu eenmaal de belangrijkste fysiologische biomechanische problemen die het menselijk lichaam ervaart tijdens het ouder worden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Fietsen is een fantastische manier om dit probleem aan te pakken. De herhaalde actie van duwen en trekken tijdens de pedaalslag activeert de hamstring op een manier die de meeste andere activiteiten eenvoudigweg niet kunnen. Door bij elke rotatie de achterkant van de pedaalslag door te trekken, wordt de hamstring tot een zodanig niveau gerekruteerd dat zelfs laatkomers in de wielerwereld eerdere onbalans- en houdingsproblemen kunnen herstellen. En omdat je, als je in een zadel zit met je voeten vast of vastgebonden in de pedalen, effectief het effect van de zwaartekracht op je lichaam elimineert of op zijn minst drastisch vermindert, waardoor die gewrichten in het onderlichaam een \u200b\u200bprachtige ontlading krijgen van de zwaartekracht van alledag.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Balans is goed voor iedereen en alles. Zoals we kunnen zien, kan fietsen je lichaam de broodnodige balans geven op een gebied dat de meeste andere activiteiten eenvoudigweg niet kunnen. Concentreer je altijd op het trekken aan de achterkant van de pedaalslag om de betrokkenheid van die hamstrings te bevorderen, en er zullen prachtige dingen gebeuren. Je verbetert jezelf als functioneel mens, je verkleint 100% de kans op problemen met je onderlichaam naarmate je ouder wordt en als extra stimulans zul je tijdens het rijden meer spieren aanwerven. Meer spieren betekent meer kracht en meer kracht betekent dat je veel meer calorie\u00ebn verliest.
