Het is aangetoond dat deze veranderingen gematigder zijn bij recent getrainde individuen, in tegenstelling tot topsporters met jarenlange training. Er zijn verschillende componenten van fitness, waaronder spierkracht, spieruithoudingsvermogen en cardiovasculair uithoudingsvermogen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Week 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De eerste impact van het stoppen met trainen is een afname van het vermogen van het lichaam om zuurstof te transporteren en te gebruiken. Onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat er tegen het einde van week 1 een afname van ~8-10% in VO2Max en bloedvolume optreedt. Deze stijging van de hartslag is een ineffectief tegenwicht geweest en als gevolg daarvan wordt het maximale hartvolume verminderd en neemt de RPE (snelheid van waargenomen inspanning) toe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Week 2<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Het lichaam is nu meer afhankelijk van koolhydraten als brandstofsubstraat bij zowel submaximale als maximale trainingsinspanningen, wat betekent dat uw spieren het moeilijker zullen vinden om energie te produceren uit uw vetvoorraden. Dit wordt weergegeven als een hogere respiratoire wisselkoersverhouding. De opslagniveaus van spierglycogeen worden negatief be\u00efnvloed en de lactaatdrempelwaarden dalen. Deze hebben allemaal invloed op de stofwisseling van het lichaam en de mitochondriale activiteit in spiercellen begint snel te dalen. Op dit moment is de maximale hartslag met ~5% gestegen en is het hartminuutvolume met ~8-12% afgenomen. Bij recent getrainde atleten zijn alle positieve effecten van lichaamsbeweging op de bloeddruk volledig omgekeerd en dalen alle waarden van de insulinegevoeligheid en de mitochondriale enzymactiviteit terug naar het niveau van v\u00f3\u00f3r de training.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Week 4<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De capillaire dichtheid van de spieren en de oxidatieve enzymactiviteiten worden aanzienlijk verminderd. Veel atleten nemen atrofie waar bij een verlies van ongeveer 10-15% van de spiermassa, die wordt vervangen door vet. De spierkracht neemt op dit punt met maar liefst 20% af en het piekvermogen is gedaald.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tot slot<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De snelheid waarmee deze fysiologische aanpassingen plaatsvinden, onderstreept het belang van het onderhouden en volgen van omscholingsprogramma&#8217;s na langere perioden van inactiviteit. Bij pauzes van meer dan twee weken heb je een trainingsprikkel nodig om een \u200b\u200bgrotere achteruitgang van je conditie te voorkomen. Het goede nieuws is dat het ongeveer net zo lang duurt om fit te worden als om weer fit te worden.
