Ik heb gelezen over de \u2018nieuwe\u2019 klasse \u2013 SHOCKWAVE van MT \u2013 dus dacht dat dit de ideale klasse zou zijn om mee terug te komen\u2026 Laten we zeggen dat ik bang ben om te bedenken hoe ik met iets moeilijkers om zou zijn gegaan!!!  Veel schrik, in ieder geval niet veel zwaaien van mij.  Bovendien stuurde CicloZone me per post een t-shirt, dus ik dacht dat ik het maar beter kon proberen!<span class=\"s1\">After three weeks rest with a niggly injury I\u2019m back.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve been reading about the \u2018new\u2019 class \u2013 SHOCKWAVE by MT &#8211; so thought that would be ideal class to come back with&#8230;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Let\u2019s just say I dread to think how I\u2019d have coped with anything tougher!!!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Lots of shock, not much wave from me at least.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Also, CicloZone sent me a t-shirt in the post, so I thought I\u2019d better try it out!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Wat kan ik tegen al die beginners zeggen? Probeer de lessen van Mel eens \u2013 filter indien nodig op 30 minuten.  Hij is geweldig in het met je doornemen van je formulier, je aanmoedigen, uitleggen hoe elke zone zou moeten aanvoelen, waar je op de fiets zou moeten zitten, hoe je lichaam zou moeten voelen \u2013 het zijn maar kleine tips en herinneringen terwijl hij je aanmoedigt om te \u2018push-push\u2019!<span class=\"s1\">What I can say to all those beginners out there? Give Mel\u2019s classes a try \u2013 filter by 30 minutes if needs be.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He\u2019s great at talking you through your form, encouraging you, explaining how each zone should feel, where you should be on the bike, how your body should feel \u2013 just little tips and reminders all the way though while encouraging you to \u2018push push\u2019!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ik heb echt geworsteld met mijn knieblessure: de pijn in mijn scheenbeen is constant als gevolg van de operatie, het heeft mijn voet aangetast (wat de reden is van het recente ontslag), maar ik ben vastbesloten om terug te keren, om mijn conditie terug te krijgen!  Ik hou van het gevoel van binnen \u2018fit\u2019 te zijn, dat mijn hart goed werkt, dat ik me fit kan voelen en er niet per se mager en mager uit hoef te zien, maar weet dat ik van binnen een gezond hart heb.<span class=\"s1\">I\u2019ve really been struggling with my knee injury: the pain in my shin is constant from the operation, it\u2019s affected my foot (which is the reason for the recent lay off), but I\u2019m determined to get back, to get my fitness back!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I love the feeling of being \u2018fit\u2019 inside, that my heart is working well, that I can feel fit and not necessarily have to look skinny and lean on the outside but know I have a healthy heart on the inside.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Voor mij draait het allemaal om balans.  Ik wil CicloZone in mijn fitnessregime inpassen, en nu de gymlessen weer opengaan, hoop ik dat de kleine dingen die ik thuis heb gedaan, hun vruchten zullen afwerpen in de sportschool.<span class=\"s1\">For me it\u2019s all about balance.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>I want to fit CicloZone into my fitness regime, and now the gym classes are opening again I\u2019m hoping the little bits I\u2019ve been doing at home will pay off back in the gym.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ik wil kunnen eten en drinken wat ik wil (binnen redelijke grenzen) en weten dat ik nog steeds mijn lessen kan volgen, ik wil kilometers met mijn hond kunnen wandelen, wetende dat mijn lichaam het aankan!  Ik wil een gezond hart EN een gezonde geest hebben.<span class=\"s1\">I want to be able to eat and drink what I want (within reason) and know I\u2019ll still be able to do my classes, I want to be able to walk my dog for miles and miles, knowing my body is up to it!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I want to have a healthy heart AND a healthy mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Voor mij past CicloZone perfect in mijn dag.  Ik werk sowieso vanuit huis (doe ik al 10 jaar), dus ik kan zonder vreemde blikken in mijn gymkleding blijven zitten, ik kan de fiets opzetten en binnen 10 minuten aan het trainen zijn, en dan binnen een uur weer achter mijn bureau zitten \u2013 het gemak maakt het mentaal zoveel minder een strijd \u2013 waardoor ik al mijn energie heb om door de pedalen te trappen.<span class=\"s1\">For me, CicloZone fits perfectly into my day.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I work from home anyway (have done for the last 10 years), so I can sit around in my gym clothes without any strange looks, I can set the bike up and be working out within 10 minutes, then be back at my desk within the hour \u2013 the convenience makes it so much less of a battle mentally \u2013 leaving me with all my energy to put through the pedals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Voor degenen die blijven zeggen dat ze zullen beginnen: blijf erbij. Ik beschouw mezelf nog steeds als een beginner, ik ben een typische getrouwde 40-jarige (hogere), werkende moeder van oudere kinderen met een hond.  Ik ben geen gekke motorrijder, geen gekke fitnessfanaat \u2013 gewoon de gemiddelde persoon die gezond wil zijn.<span class=\"s1\">For those out there that keep saying they\u2019ll start, stick with it. I still consider myself a beginner, I\u2019m your typical married 40-odd-year-old (higher end), working mum of older kids with a dog.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m not a mad biker, not a mad fitness fanatic \u2013 just your average person wanting to be healthy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Doe wat je kunt doen en die kleine winsten zullen komen.  Ik heb het gevoel dat ik weer bij het begin ben na drie weken vrij te hebben genomen, maar ik WEET dat de conditie langzaam terug zal kruipen en dat ik binnenkort weer zal kunnen opscheppen over mijn hartslag in rust.<span class=\"s1\">Do what you can do and those little gains will come.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>I feel like I\u2019m back at the beginning after 3 weeks off but I KNOW that fitness will slowly creep back and I\u2019ll be boasting about my resting heart rate again very soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tot de volgende keer&#8230;!<span class=\"s1\">Until next time&#8230;!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Na drie weken rust met een vervelende blessure ben ik er weer.
