Ho due lavori (entrambi part-time e mi adatto bene ai bambini). NON faccio attivit\u00e0 fisica: mi piace pensare che una sessione di yoga di 20 minuti una volta al mese dovrebbe vedermi bene e bruciare le abbondanti quantit\u00e0 di cioccolato che mangio per aiutarmi a superare ogni giorno, specialmente durante il blocco! Sono stato molto fedele alla mentalit\u00e0 del \u201cehi, siamo sopravvissuti un altro giorno, prendiamo un po\u2019 di cioccolata per festeggiare!\u201d.<span class=\"s1\">May I introduce myself \u2013 I\u2019m Sarah, a 40-year-old mum of two, a wife of one and I am your average run of the mill person. I have two jobs (both part time and fit in well around the children). I do NOT exercise \u2013 I like to think a 20 min yoga session once a month should see me right and will burn off the copious amounts of chocolate that I eat to help me get through each day \u2013 especially during lockdown! I\u2019ve been very much of the \u2018hey, we survived another day, lets have some chocolate to celebrate!\u2019 mentality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">E che sorpresa\u2026..pesa una pietra e non mi sento bene! Urgh. Essere pi\u00f9 anziani con un metabolismo pi\u00f9 lento non \u00e8 divertente.<span class=\"s1\">And what a surprise\u2026..on goes a stone in weight and I am not feeling good! Urgh. Being older with a slower metabolism is not fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sono ossessionato da Instagram e durante il lockdown ho visto cos\u00ec tante persone su questa piattaforma di social media allenarsi a casa. Poi ho pensato: perch\u00e9 non posso essere anch\u2019io? Sicuramente se compro la bicicletta arriver\u00e0 anche la voglia di fare esercizio e subito cadr\u00e0 mezza pietra?<span class=\"s1\">I am obsessed with Instagram, and over lockdown I have seen SO many people on this social media platform working out at home. Then I thought \u2013 why can\u2019t that be me too? Surely if I buy the bike, the will to exercise will come with it, and immediately half a stone will drop off?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sono influenzato molto facilmente, ho provato molte diete diverse e programmi di esercizi, ma non mi attengo a nessuno perch\u00e9, beh, la vita \u00e8 solo d&#8217;intralcio. Non sono mai stato veramente magro e non sono mai stato veramente grasso. Ma quello che sento adesso \u00e8 malsano. \u00c8 tempo di fare un cambiamento consapevole, dare il buon esempio ai miei figli e lavorare per indossare i miei vestiti estivi quando arrivano le giornate pi\u00f9 calde.<span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m influenced very easily, I have tried many different diets and exercise plans, none of which I stick to because, well, life just gets in the way. I\u2019ve never been really thin, and I\u2019ve never been really fat. But what I do feel now, is unhealthy. It\u2019s time to make a conscious change, set a good example to my children and work on getting into my summer clothes once the warmer days come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Quindi CicloZone si \u00e8 rivolto a me&#8230; e ragazzi, sono felice che lo abbiano fatto! Avevo bisogno di responsabilit\u00e0\u2026. Avevo bisogno di qualcuno a cui riferire, perch\u00e9 non sono bravo a riferire a me stesso!<span class=\"s1\">So CicloZone approached me\u2026.. and boy am I glad they did! I needed accountability\u2026. I needed someone to report back to \u2013 because I am not good at reporting back to myself!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Questa \u00e8 l&#8217;occasione perfetta per me per risolvere questo problema, mettermi pi\u00f9 in forma, stare pi\u00f9 sano e sentirmi bene!<span class=\"s1\">This is the perfect opportunity for me to sort this out, get fitter, get healthier and feel good! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Allora, come sta andando finora? Ok, sar\u00f2 onesto. Ho detto che avrei seguito tre lezioni a settimana a marzo. La prima settimana ho inventato alcune scuse e sono riuscito a impiegare circa 20 minuti. Quanto \u00e8 ridicolo? Non riuscivo proprio ad entrare nella &#8220;Zona&#8221; (gioco di parole). Qualcun altro si sente cos\u00ec? Non riesci proprio ad andare avanti? \u00c8 pazzesco, perch\u00e9 sai che quando lo farai, ti sentirai assolutamente fantastico! MA SI INIZIA!<span class=\"s1\">So how is it going so far? Okay, I\u2019ll be honest. I said I would do three classes a week in March. The first week, I made some excuses and managed about 20 minutes. How ridiculous is that? I just couldn\u2019t get into the \u2018Zone\u2019 (pun intended). Anyone else feel like this? You just can\u2019t bring yourself to get going? It\u2019s crazy, because you know when you do, you will feel absolutely amazing! BUT IT\u2019S THE GETTING GOING!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Avanti veloce fino a questa settimana e sono innamorato di CicloZone! Ho superato qualunque barriera invisibile che mi trattenesse (anche il fatto che mio marito continuasse a dire &#8220;Se non sali su quella bici, la vendiamo&#8221;), penso che fossi preoccupato di non essere in grado di farlo. Nella mia testa, credevo che le lezioni sarebbero state troppe \u2013 voglio dire, guarda gli allenatori \u2013 sono tutti cos\u00ec in forma atleticamente, non riesco sicuramente a stargli dietro?! Forse ero solo un po&#8217; scoraggiato. (E pigro, a pensarci bene.)<span class=\"s1\">Fast forward to this week and I am in LOVE with CicloZone! I got over whatever invisible barrier that was holding me back (also the fact that my husband kept saying \u2018If you don\u2019t get on that bike, we are selling it\u2019) I think I was worried I wouldn\u2019t be able to do it. In my head, I believed that the classes would be too much \u2013 I mean, look at the trainers \u2013 they are all so athletically fit, I can\u2019t keep up with them surely?! Maybe I was just a bit daunted. (And lazy, come to think of it.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Posso dirvi ora \u2013 a tutti i principianti \u2013 che non \u00e8 cos\u00ec! Vai a trovare una classe con COL% basso per te (quelle con un COL% basso sono buone) e vai al tuo ritmo. Non \u00e8 una competizione, nessuno ti giudica, non devi scoraggiarti. Come dice Mel Thomas: raggiungi il punto giusto e sentirai di poter raggiungere il tuo obiettivo.<span class=\"s1\">Can I tell you now \u2013 to all the beginners \u2013 this is not the case! You go find a low COL% class for you (Low 70% ones are good) and go at your own pace. It\u2019s not a competition, no one is judging you, you don\u2019t need to be daunted. As Mel Thomas says \u2013 hit the sweet spot and you will feel like you can achieve your goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">E lo faccio adesso! Sento che con queste lezioni e l&#8217;incoraggiamento che mi danno gli istruttori, posso sentirmi meglio, pi\u00f9 sano e pi\u00f9 in forma.<span class=\"s1\">And I do now! I feel that that with these classes and the encouragement that the trainers give, I can feel better, and I can feel healthier, and I can feel fitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ok, so che sono passate solo due settimane, ma sto ancora galleggiando sulla serotonina della lezione di ieri! Voglio inserirne un&#8217;altra pi\u00f9 tardi oggi o se non domani, e quella, amici miei, sar\u00e0 la mia terza lezione della settimana. L&#8217;obiettivo che mi ero prefissato; tre lezioni a settimana. Facilmente realizzabile per una persona inadatta, di mezza et\u00e0, stanca e molto impegnata. Quante volte abbiamo sentito &#8220;Se posso farlo io, puoi farlo anche tu!&#8221; Sembra tremendamente banale ma vero! Se mi viene in mente una battuta meno scadente, te lo far\u00f2 sapere!<span class=\"s1\">Okay \u2013 I know I\u2019m only two weeks in, but I\u2019m still floating on the serotonin of yesterday\u2019s class! I want to squeeze another one in later today or if not tomorrow, and that, my friends, will be my third class of the week. The goal I had set myself; three classes a week. Easily achievable for an unfit, middle aged, tired and very busy person. How many times have we heard \u2018If I can do it, you can!\u2019 Sounds soooooo corny but true!
