Volendo salire di livello&#8230; quindi, sono tornato a dare un&#8217;occhiata a cosa \u00e8 CicloZone.<span class=\"s1\">By January, I was really feeling the effects of not exercising properly for four months (other than walking &#8211; walking I could do for miles and miles \u2013 good job, given the crazy spaniel!), the effects of Christmas pigging out, the effects of living a sedentary lifestyle \u2013 and just generally wanting to improve my fitness again. Wanting to take it up a level&#8230; s<\/span><span class=\"s1\">o, back I went to have a look what CicloZone is all about. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sembrava abbastanza semplice quindi, dopo un breve messaggio a Darren per mostrargli la nostra scelta di bici e chiedergli se sarebbe stata adatta (cosa che ha confermato), eravamo in viaggio.<span class=\"s1\">It seemed simple enough so, after a quick DM to Darren to show him our choice of bike and ask if it would be suitable (which he confirmed it was), we were on our way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ho scaricato l\u2019app, mi sono iscritta (a nome di mio marito \u2013 non so bene perch\u00e9, forse per incoraggiare anche lui a darsi da fare!) e abbiamo completato le nostre prime lezioni.<span class=\"s1\">I downloaded the app, signed up (in my husband\u2019s name \u2013 don\u2019t really know why, maybe to encourage him to get his butt into gear too!) and we completed our first classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Quindi, i miei pensieri dopo le mie prime tre sessioni:<span class=\"s1\">So, my thoughts after my initial three sessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our bike isn\u2019t gym quality \u2013 but for now it\u2019s actually OK!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You don\u2019t need to spend thousands of \u00a3\u2019s on a top-of-the-range, fully \u2018bluetoothed\u2019 bike in order to take part.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We both wear<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Fitbits so I\u2019m happy to have the readings from there for now to see how we\u2019re improving over time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Don\u2019t let your husband go through the classes and kindly \u2018choose\u2019 one for you!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>(He managed to do a 30-minute class for his first one back \u2013 picking me a killer of a 45-minute session).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In usual Darren style, the classes are SO easy to follow, just keep to the beat (he says, easier said than done with a manky knee!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Invest in some Bluetooth headphones because sweat will drip into your eyes and you won\u2019t be able to see your screen!<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m starting with a couple of sessions a week, using the on demand service (mainly so I can pick what I want to do) and, at the moment, I\u2019m staying safe with the instructor I know.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">La nostra bici non \u00e8 di qualit\u00e0 da palestra, ma per ora in realt\u00e0 va bene!  Per partecipare non \u00e8 necessario spendere migliaia di \u00a3 su una bici top di gamma completamente \u201cbluetooth\u201d.  Entrambi indossiamo Fitbits, quindi per ora sono felice di avere le letture da l\u00ec per vedere come stiamo migliorando nel tempo.<br \/>\nNon lasciare che tuo marito segua le lezioni e gentilmente &#8220;scegli&#8221; uno per te!  (\u00c8 riuscito a seguire una lezione di 30 minuti per la prima volta, scegliendomi come un killer di una sessione di 45 minuti).<br \/>\nNel solito stile di Darren, le lezioni sono COS\u00cc facili da seguire, basta tenere il ritmo (dice, pi\u00f9 facile a dirsi che a farsi con un ginocchio manky!)<br \/>\nInvesti in alcune cuffie Bluetooth perch\u00e9 il sudore ti coler\u00e0 negli occhi e non sarai in grado di vedere lo schermo!<br \/>\nSto iniziando con un paio di sessioni a settimana, utilizzando il servizio on demand (principalmente per poter scegliere cosa voglio fare) e, al momento, sto al sicuro con l&#8217;istruttore che conosco.<br \/>\nNon so se sia un po\u2019 prematuro tornare subito a questo livello di esercizio solo sei mesi dopo l\u2019intervento, ma ti terr\u00f2 aggiornato.  Ho sicuramente avvertito i benefici dal punto di vista del fitness dopo solo tre sessioni, ma la mia gamba, dove la parte metallica si trova nella parte superiore dello stinco, non ama molto gli 85-90 giri in piedi e in seguito ho un leggero gonfiore. \u00c8 quasi come se il tendine lungo la mia tibia non fosse felice di essere invitato a lavorare come si deve dopo tutti questi mesi di riposo&#8230;!<span class=\"s1\">I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m a bit premature going straight back into this level of exercise only six months post op but I\u2019ll keep you posted.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve certainly felt the benefit fitness wise after only three sessions but my leg, where the metal work sits at the top of my shin, isn\u2019t too fond of the 85-90RPMs standing and I am getting some slight swelling afterwards. It\u2019s almost like the tendon down my shin isn\u2019t happy being asked to put in some proper work after all these months of rest\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ho pubblicato le mie prime tre letture del mio Fitbit nella foto del blog, quindi sentiti libero di dare un&#8217;occhiata.
