Que votre interruption d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement soit agr\u00e9able ou non, lorsque la vie arrive, il y aura des r\u00e9gressions physiologiques qui impacteront vos performances cyclistes. Tout n\u2019est cependant pas perdu, car ces revers sont temporaires et surviennent \u00e0 des rythmes variables.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le principe de r\u00e9versibilit\u00e9<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">La r\u00e9versibilit\u00e9 est \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de perte des adaptations induites par l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 des stimuli d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement insuffisants. Lorsque l\u2019intensit\u00e9, la dur\u00e9e ou la fr\u00e9quence de l\u2019entra\u00eenement est r\u00e9duite, une perte progressive de forme physique se produit. Pour les besoins de cet article, nous nous concentrerons sur un d\u00e9sentra\u00eenement \u00e0 court terme (\u2264 4 semaines) plut\u00f4t que sur une r\u00e9duction programm\u00e9e avant une course ou un \u00e9v\u00e9nement vers un objectif. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que ces changements sont plus mod\u00e9r\u00e9s chez les individus r\u00e9cemment entra\u00een\u00e9s que chez les athl\u00e8tes d\u2019\u00e9lite ayant des ann\u00e9es d\u2019entra\u00eenement. La condition physique comporte plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments, notamment la force musculaire, l\u2019endurance musculaire et l\u2019endurance cardiovasculaire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Semaine 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le premier impact de l\u2019arr\u00eat de l\u2019entra\u00eenement est une diminution de la capacit\u00e9 du corps \u00e0 transporter et \u00e0 utiliser l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. Des recherches ont montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la fin de la premi\u00e8re semaine, il y a une diminution d&rsquo;environ 8 \u00e0 10 % du VO2Max et du volume sanguin. Le volume systolique de chaque battement cardiaque diminue et la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque augmente pour tenter d&rsquo;envoyer la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de sang aux muscles en exercice. Cette augmentation de la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque constitue un contrepoids inefficace et, par cons\u00e9quent, le volume cardiaque maximal est r\u00e9duit et le RPE (taux d&rsquo;effort per\u00e7u) augmente.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Semaine 2<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le corps d\u00e9pend d\u00e9sormais davantage des glucides comme substrat \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans les efforts d\u2019exercice sous-maximaux et maximaux, ce qui signifie que vos muscles auront plus de mal \u00e0 produire de l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e0 partir de vos r\u00e9serves de graisse. Ceci est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par un taux d\u2019\u00e9change respiratoire plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. Les niveaux de stockage du glycog\u00e8ne musculaire sont affect\u00e9s et les niveaux de seuil de lactate chutent. Tout cela a un impact sur le taux m\u00e9tabolique du corps et l\u2019activit\u00e9 mitochondriale des cellules musculaires commence \u00e0 chuter rapidement. \u00c0 ce stade, la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque maximale a augment\u00e9 d&rsquo;environ 5 % et le d\u00e9bit cardiaque a diminu\u00e9 d&rsquo;environ 8 \u00e0 12 %. Il est peu probable que d&rsquo;autres baisses du d\u00e9bit cardiaque se stabilisent aux nouveaux niveaux \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque. \u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, on constate une baisse significative de votre FTP.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Semaine 3<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le corps devient moins efficace pour se refroidir. De nombreux athl\u00e8tes observent une atrophie entra\u00eenant une perte d\u2019environ 10 \u00e0 15 % de la masse musculaire, qui est remplac\u00e9e par de la graisse. \u00c0 ce stade, la force musculaire diminue jusqu\u2019\u00e0 20\u00a0% et la puissance maximale a chut\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En conclusion<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La vitesse \u00e0 laquelle ces adaptations physiologiques se produisent met en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance du maintien et du suivi des programmes de reconversion apr\u00e8s de longues p\u00e9riodes d\u2019inactivit\u00e9. Pour des pauses de plus de deux semaines, vous aurez besoin d\u2019une sorte de stimulus d\u2019entra\u00eenement pour \u00e9viter une baisse plus importante de votre condition physique. La bonne nouvelle est qu\u2019il faut autant de temps pour acqu\u00e9rir une forme physique que pour la perdre. M\u00eame si les valeurs cardiovasculaires peuvent se r\u00e9tablir en quelques jours, des p\u00e9riodes d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement plus longues peuvent \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaires pour retrouver les niveaux de capacit\u00e9 et de fonction oxydatives musculaires d&rsquo;avant le d\u00e9sentra\u00eenement.
