Pourquoi devriez-vous faire du v\u00e9lo avec CicloZone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\">Quand j&rsquo;\u00e9tais plus jeune, faire du v\u00e9lo \u00e9tait avant tout une question de comp\u00e9tition, de course et d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de quelque mani\u00e8re que ce soit pour devenir un cycliste plus puissant et rouler plus vite. Je n\u2019ai jamais pens\u00e9 \u00e0 vieillir \u2013 c\u2019est le cas de tous quand nous avons 20 ans. Mais trop vite, la vie nous rattrape \u2013 les ann\u00e9es passent et avant de vous en rendre compte, vous envisagez votre 30e, puis votre 40e, puis votre 50e ann\u00e9e qui se profilent \u00e0 l\u2019horizon. \u00c0 part les cheveux gris et les lunettes de lecture, je n\u2019ai pas vraiment remarqu\u00e9 mon \u00e2ge, car il semblait affecter certains de mes amis non cyclistes\u2026 et il \u00e9tait \u00e9vident que la fa\u00e7on dont je faisais du v\u00e9lo et m\u2019entra\u00eenais pour faire du v\u00e9lo \u00e9tait la raison pour laquelle je ne semblais pas vieillir de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que beaucoup de mes amis.<span class=\"s1\">When I was younger, riding a bike was all about the competition all about the race and all about training in any way to become a more powerful cyclist and ride faster. I never thought about getting old &#8211; as well all do when we are 20. But all too quickly life catches up with you &#8211; the years come and go and before you know it you&rsquo;re looking at your 30th then your 40th and then your 50th year looming over the horizon. Apart from the grey hair and reading glasses, I didn\u2019t really notice my age in the way it seemed to be affecting some of my non cycling friends&#8230; and it was obvious that the way I cycled and trained to cycle was the reason I didn&rsquo;t seem to age in the same way a lot of my friends did. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Il s&rsquo;av\u00e8re que la m\u00e9thodologie et les principes d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement auxquels j&rsquo;avais si strictement adh\u00e9r\u00e9 dans ma jeunesse me rapportaient d\u00e9sormais avec int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge m\u00fbr : mon niveau d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, ma mobilit\u00e9, mon absence de blessures, mon absence de douleur n&rsquo;\u00e9taient, au d\u00e9but, qu&rsquo;un sujet de discussion au pub. Mais plus tard, mes amis m&rsquo;ont demand\u00e9 comment ils pourraient r\u00e9aliser ce que j&rsquo;\u00e9tais en train de r\u00e9aliser et ma r\u00e9ponse a \u00e9t\u00e9 simple : ils devaient commencer \u00e0 faire du v\u00e9lo, mais le faire avec une compr\u00e9hension de ce qui se passe r\u00e9ellement physiologiquement lors de la rotation d&rsquo;une p\u00e9dale \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes intensit\u00e9s et diff\u00e9rentes vitesses.<span class=\"s1\">It turns out that the training methodology and principles I had adhered to so strictly in my youth were now paying me back with interest in my middle age: My energy levels, my mobility, my lack of injury, my lack of pain was, at first, just a talking point in the pub. Ce que je voulais, c&rsquo;\u00e9tait un hybride des deux. Je suis un fervent d\u00e9fenseur des instructeurs et les cours dirig\u00e9s par un instructeur \u00e9taient donc d\u00e9finitivement la voie \u00e0 suivre, mais les sessions devaient contenir la science derri\u00e8re des profils dont je savais qu&rsquo;ils donneraient les r\u00e9sultats que les gens recherchaient lorsqu&rsquo;ils faisaient du v\u00e9lo \u00e0 la maison ou dans leurs studios.<span class=\"s1\">I saw on one side Zwift &#8211; a competitive power-based platform for cyclists. Avatar based and gamefied, this platform certainly appealed to the weekend warriors tucked away in their basements and garages. On the other side, Peloton &#8211; with more hair flicks and would-be &lsquo;fitness influencers&rsquo; than you can shake a stick at, but instructor-led and music-based, so not all bad. What i wanted though was a hybrid of the two.
