J&rsquo;ai deux emplois (tous deux \u00e0 temps partiel et qui s&rsquo;int\u00e8grent bien avec les enfants). Je ne fais PAS d\u2019exercice \u2013 j\u2019aime penser qu\u2019une s\u00e9ance de yoga de 20 minutes une fois par mois devrait me faire du bien et br\u00fblera les grandes quantit\u00e9s de chocolat que je mange pour m\u2019aider \u00e0 passer chaque jour \u2013 surtout pendant le confinement ! J\u2019ai vraiment \u00e9t\u00e9 du genre \u00ab\u00a0h\u00e9, nous avons surv\u00e9cu \u00e0 un autre jour, prenons du chocolat pour f\u00eater \u00e7a\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<span class=\"s1\">May I introduce myself \u2013 I\u2019m Sarah, a 40-year-old mum of two, a wife of one and I am your average run of the mill person. I have two jobs (both part time and fit in well around the children). I do NOT exercise \u2013 I like to think a 20 min yoga session once a month should see me right and will burn off the copious amounts of chocolate that I eat to help me get through each day \u2013 especially during lockdown! I\u2019ve been very much of the \u2018hey, we survived another day, lets have some chocolate to celebrate!\u2019 mentality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Et quelle surprise\u2026 \u00e7a p\u00e8se une pierre et je ne me sens pas bien ! Urgh. \u00catre plus \u00e2g\u00e9 avec un m\u00e9tabolisme plus lent n\u2019est pas amusant.<span class=\"s1\">And what a surprise\u2026..on goes a stone in weight and I am not feeling good! Urgh. Being older with a slower metabolism is not fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Je suis obs\u00e9d\u00e9e par Instagram et, pendant le confinement, j&rsquo;ai vu TELLEMENT de personnes sur cette plateforme de m\u00e9dias sociaux s&rsquo;entra\u00eener \u00e0 la maison. Puis j\u2019ai pens\u00e9 : pourquoi \u00e7a ne peut pas \u00eatre moi aussi ? S\u00fbrement que si j&rsquo;ach\u00e8te le v\u00e9lo, l&rsquo;envie de faire de l&rsquo;exercice viendra avec lui, et imm\u00e9diatement une demi-pierre tombera ?<span class=\"s1\">I am obsessed with Instagram, and over lockdown I have seen SO many people on this social media platform working out at home. Then I thought \u2013 why can\u2019t that be me too? Surely if I buy the bike, the will to exercise will come with it, and immediately half a stone will drop off?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Je suis tr\u00e8s facilement influenc\u00e9, j\u2019ai essay\u00e9 de nombreux r\u00e9gimes et programmes d\u2019exercices diff\u00e9rents, mais je ne m\u2019en tiens \u00e0 aucun parce que, eh bien, la vie me g\u00eane. Je n\u2019ai jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 vraiment mince et je n\u2019ai jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 vraiment gros. Mais ce que je ressens maintenant est malsain. Il est temps de faire un changement conscient, de donner le bon exemple \u00e0 mes enfants et d\u2019enfiler mes v\u00eatements d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 une fois les journ\u00e9es plus chaudes arriv\u00e9es.<span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m influenced very easily, I have tried many different diets and exercise plans, none of which I stick to because, well, life just gets in the way. I\u2019ve never been really thin, and I\u2019ve never been really fat. But what I do feel now, is unhealthy. It\u2019s time to make a conscious change, set a good example to my children and work on getting into my summer clothes once the warmer days come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Alors CicloZone m&rsquo;a approch\u00e9\u2026 et je suis content qu&rsquo;ils l&rsquo;aient fait\u00a0! J&rsquo;avais besoin de responsabilit\u00e9\u2026. J\u2019avais besoin de quelqu\u2019un \u00e0 qui faire rapport \u2013 parce que je ne suis pas dou\u00e9 pour faire rapport \u00e0 moi-m\u00eame\u00a0!<span class=\"s1\">So CicloZone approached me\u2026.. and boy am I glad they did! I needed accountability\u2026. I needed someone to report back to \u2013 because I am not good at reporting back to myself!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">C\u2019est l\u2019occasion id\u00e9ale pour moi de r\u00e9gler ce probl\u00e8me, d\u2019\u00eatre en meilleure forme, en meilleure sant\u00e9 et de me sentir bien\u00a0!<span class=\"s1\">This is the perfect opportunity for me to sort this out, get fitter, get healthier and feel good! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Alors, comment \u00e7a se passe jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent ? D&rsquo;accord, je vais \u00eatre honn\u00eate. J&rsquo;ai dit que je ferais trois cours par semaine en mars. La premi\u00e8re semaine, j&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9 quelques excuses et j&rsquo;ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 tenir environ 20 minutes. \u00c0 quel point est-ce ridicule ? Je ne pouvais tout simplement pas entrer dans la \u00ab Zone \u00bb (jeu de mots). Quelqu&rsquo;un d&rsquo;autre ressent-il cela ? Vous n\u2019arrivez tout simplement pas \u00e0 vous lancer ? C\u2019est fou, parce que vous savez que lorsque vous le ferez, vous vous sentirez absolument incroyable\u00a0! MAIS C&rsquo;EST LE D\u00c9PART\u00a0!<span class=\"s1\">So how is it going so far? Okay, I\u2019ll be honest. I said I would do three classes a week in March. The first week, I made some excuses and managed about 20 minutes. How ridiculous is that? I just couldn\u2019t get into the \u2018Zone\u2019 (pun intended). Anyone else feel like this? You just can\u2019t bring yourself to get going? It\u2019s crazy, because you know when you do, you will feel absolutely amazing! BUT IT\u2019S THE GETTING GOING!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Avance rapide jusqu\u2019\u00e0 cette semaine et je suis amoureux de CicloZone\u00a0! J\u2019ai surmont\u00e9 la barri\u00e8re invisible qui me retenait (et aussi le fait que mon mari n\u2019arr\u00eatait pas de dire : \u00ab Si tu ne montes pas sur ce v\u00e9lo, nous le vendons \u00bb). Je pense que j\u2019avais peur de ne pas pouvoir le faire. Dans ma t\u00eate, je pensais que les cours seraient trop nombreux \u2013 je veux dire, regardez les entra\u00eeneurs \u2013 ils sont tous tellement en forme athl\u00e9tique que je ne peux s\u00fbrement pas les suivre ?! Peut-\u00eatre que j&rsquo;\u00e9tais juste un peu intimid\u00e9. (Et paresseux, \u00e0 bien y penser.)<span class=\"s1\">Fast forward to this week and I am in LOVE with CicloZone! I got over whatever invisible barrier that was holding me back (also the fact that my husband kept saying \u2018If you don\u2019t get on that bike, we are selling it\u2019) I think I was worried I wouldn\u2019t be able to do it. In my head, I believed that the classes would be too much \u2013 I mean, look at the trainers \u2013 they are all so athletically fit, I can\u2019t keep up with them surely?! Maybe I was just a bit daunted. (And lazy, come to think of it.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Puis-je vous dire maintenant \u2013 \u00e0 tous les d\u00e9butants \u2013 que ce n\u2019est pas le cas ! Vous allez trouver un cours \u00e0 faible COL% pour vous (ceux \u00e0 faible 70% sont bons) et avancez \u00e0 votre rythme. Ce n\u2019est pas une comp\u00e9tition, personne ne vous juge, vous ne devez pas vous laisser intimider. Comme le dit Mel Thomas, atteignez le point id\u00e9al et vous aurez l\u2019impression de pouvoir atteindre votre objectif.<span class=\"s1\">Can I tell you now \u2013 to all the beginners \u2013 this is not the case! You go find a low COL% class for you (Low 70% ones are good) and go at your own pace. It\u2019s not a competition, no one is judging you, you don\u2019t need to be daunted. As Mel Thomas says \u2013 hit the sweet spot and you will feel like you can achieve your goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Et je le fais maintenant ! Je sens qu&rsquo;avec ces cours et les encouragements que les entra\u00eeneurs me donnent, je peux me sentir mieux, en meilleure sant\u00e9 et en meilleure forme.<span class=\"s1\">And I do now! I feel that that with these classes and the encouragement that the trainers give, I can feel better, and I can feel healthier, and I can feel fitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">D&rsquo;accord, je sais que je n&rsquo;en suis qu&rsquo;\u00e0 deux semaines, mais je flotte toujours sur la s\u00e9rotonine du cours d&rsquo;hier\u00a0! Je veux en faire un autre plus tard dans la journ\u00e9e ou sinon demain, et ce sera, mes amis, mon troisi\u00e8me cours de la semaine. L\u2019objectif que je m\u2019\u00e9tais fix\u00e9\u00a0; trois cours par semaine. Facilement r\u00e9alisable pour une personne inapte, d\u2019\u00e2ge moyen, fatigu\u00e9e et tr\u00e8s occup\u00e9e. Combien de fois avons-nous entendu \u00ab Si je peux le faire, tu peux ! \u00bb Cela semble tellement ringard mais vrai ! Si je trouve une r\u00e9plique moins ringarde, je vous le ferai savoir !<span class=\"s1\">Okay \u2013 I know I\u2019m only two weeks in, but I\u2019m still floating on the serotonin of yesterday\u2019s class! I want to squeeze another one in later today or if not tomorrow, and that, my friends, will be my third class of the week. The goal I had set myself; three classes a week. Easily achievable for an unfit, middle aged, tired and very busy person. How many times have we heard \u2018If I can do it, you can!\u2019 Sounds soooooo corny but true! If I come up with a less cheesy line, I will let you know! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eh bien, bonjour, amis
