{"id":8839,"date":"2023-03-13T10:02:48","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T10:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciclozone.com\/blog\/why-ride-a-bike\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T13:59:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T12:59:07","slug":"why-ride-a-bike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciclozone.com\/fr\/blog\/why-ride-a-bike\/","title":{"rendered":"Pourquoi faire du v\u00e9lo ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Je suis cycliste depuis toujours : cycliste de haut niveau, cycliste loisir, v\u00e9t\u00e9tiste, cycliste indoor, et m\u00eame spinner \u2013 j\u2019ai pratiqu\u00e9 sous toutes les formes.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9but, le v\u00e9lo, c\u2019\u00e9tait simplement ce que j\u2019aimais faire. C\u2019\u00e9tait mon truc, mon sport, mon exutoire. Mais avec les ann\u00e9es et \u00e0 mesure que j\u2019ai \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l\u2019univers de l\u2019entra\u00eenement cycliste, j\u2019ai compris que ce que je pratiquais depuis toujours \u00e9tait, en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, ce qu\u2019il y avait de mieux pour mon corps.<\/p>\n<p>Cela m\u2019a conduit sur une mission d\u2019\u00e9ducation : apprendre au plus t\u00f4t aux gens \u00e0 quel point le v\u00e9lo est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour le corps, et amener le plus grand nombre \u00e0 comprendre ce qui se passe exactement \u2013 sur le plan physiologique et psychologique \u2013 lorsqu\u2019on roule.<\/p>\n<p>Comment votre corps r\u00e9agit \u00e0 l\u2019exercice<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un point de vue physiologique, votre corps produit, pour toute activit\u00e9, une puissance exprim\u00e9e en watts. Cette puissance provient d\u2019un ou plusieurs de vos trois syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques. Le syst\u00e8me a\u00e9robie est celui des efforts de faible intensit\u00e9 : il produit de la puissance en utilisant l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. Le syst\u00e8me lactique entre en jeu \u00e0 mesure que l\u2019intensit\u00e9 augmente et que davantage de masse musculaire est sollicit\u00e9e, le corps commen\u00e7ant \u00e0 convertir le glycog\u00e8ne stock\u00e9 dans les muscles en \u00e9nergie et en puissance. Lorsque vous approchez puis d\u00e9passez le seuil de votre syst\u00e8me lactique avec une activit\u00e9 de tr\u00e8s haute intensit\u00e9, vous produisez alors de la puissance de mani\u00e8re ana\u00e9robie, via une r\u00e9action chimique au sein de votre syst\u00e8me phosphag\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019intensit\u00e9 de votre activit\u00e9 et la fa\u00e7on dont votre corps active ses syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques influencent directement les r\u00e9sultats obtenus. Mais une chose est certaine : pour \u00eatre un \u00eatre humain complet, en bonne sant\u00e9 et puissant, nous avons besoin de trois syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques sains et performants.<\/p>\n<p>Tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019activit\u00e9s permettent d\u2019activer l\u2019ensemble de ces syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques \u00e0 l\u2019intensit\u00e9 requise pour obtenir de r\u00e9els r\u00e9sultats, notamment en raison d\u2019une force qui agit sur nous en permanence : la gravit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Toute activit\u00e9 qui s\u2019oppose \u00e0 la gravit\u00e9 exerce des forces de cisaillement sur les ligaments et les tendons lorsque les muscles sont activ\u00e9s, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de la course, des sauts ou de la musculation. Naturellement, la gravit\u00e9 impose des limites \u00e0 ces activit\u00e9s et, \u00e0 long terme, les effets n\u00e9gatifs de ces forces de cisaillement se font sentir dans les articulations et les ligaments.<\/p>\n<p>Toute activit\u00e9 r\u00e9ellement fonctionnelle et b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour le corps humain doit permettre une intensit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e tout en limitant les effets n\u00e9gatifs de ces forces de cisaillement.<\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi le cyclisme ?<\/p>\n<p>On sait tous que la natation est largement reconnue comme le meilleur exercice pour le corps humain : la flottaison offerte par l\u2019eau att\u00e9nue les effets de la gravit\u00e9 et permet aux muscles, ligaments et articulations de bouger ind\u00e9pendamment, lib\u00e9r\u00e9s de cette force.<\/p>\n<p>Le v\u00e9lo peut \u00e9galement se ranger dans cette cat\u00e9gorie, car nous restons assis pendant de longues p\u00e9riodes sur la selle, les pieds fix\u00e9s dans les p\u00e9dales.
