Soy Sarah, de 40 a\u00f1os, madre de dos hijos, esposa de uno y soy una persona com\u00fan y corriente. Tengo dos trabajos (ambos a tiempo parcial y me adapto bien a los ni\u00f1os). NO hago ejercicio. Me gusta pensar que una sesi\u00f3n de yoga de 20 minutos una vez al mes me har\u00e1 bien y quemar\u00e1 las grandes cantidades de chocolate que como para ayudarme a pasar el d\u00eda, \u00a1especialmente durante el encierro! He tenido una gran mentalidad de &#8216;oye, sobrevivimos otro d\u00eda, \u00a1comamos un poco de chocolate para celebrar!&#8217;.<span class=\"s1\">May I introduce myself \u2013 I\u2019m Sarah, a 40-year-old mum of two, a wife of one and I am your average run of the mill person. I have two jobs (both part time and fit in well around the children). I do NOT exercise \u2013 I like to think a 20 min yoga session once a month should see me right and will burn off the copious amounts of chocolate that I eat to help me get through each day \u2013 especially during lockdown! I\u2019ve been very much of the \u2018hey, we survived another day, lets have some chocolate to celebrate!\u2019 mentality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00a1Y qu\u00e9 sorpresa\u2026..se me va una piedra de peso y no me siento bien! Urgh. Ser mayor con un metabolismo m\u00e1s lento no es divertido.<span class=\"s1\">And what a surprise\u2026..on goes a stone in weight and I am not feeling good! Urgh. Being older with a slower metabolism is not fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Estoy obsesionada con Instagram y durante el encierro he visto MUCHAS personas en esta plataforma de redes sociales haciendo ejercicio en casa. Entonces pens\u00e9: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no puedo ser yo tambi\u00e9n? Seguramente si compro la bicicleta, las ganas de hacer ejercicio vendr\u00e1n con ella e inmediatamente se caer\u00e1 media piedra.<span class=\"s1\">I am obsessed with Instagram, and over lockdown I have seen SO many people on this social media platform working out at home. Then I thought \u2013 why can\u2019t that be me too? Surely if I buy the bike, the will to exercise will come with it, and immediately half a stone will drop off?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Me dejo influenciar muy f\u00e1cilmente, he probado muchas dietas y planes de ejercicio diferentes, pero no sigo ninguno de los cuales, bueno, la vida simplemente se interpone en mi camino. Nunca he estado realmente delgada y nunca he estado realmente gorda. Pero lo que siento ahora no es saludable. Es hora de hacer un cambio consciente, dar un buen ejemplo a mis hijos y trabajar para ponerme la ropa de verano una vez que lleguen los d\u00edas m\u00e1s c\u00e1lidos.<span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m influenced very easily, I have tried many different diets and exercise plans, none of which I stick to because, well, life just gets in the way. I\u2019ve never been really thin, and I\u2019ve never been really fat. But what I do feel now, is unhealthy. It\u2019s time to make a conscious change, set a good example to my children and work on getting into my summer clothes once the warmer days come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Entonces CicloZone se acerc\u00f3 a m\u00ed\u2026 \u00a1y me alegro de que lo hicieran! Necesitaba responsabilidad\u2026. Necesitaba alguien a quien informarle, \u00a1porque no soy bueno inform\u00e1ndome a m\u00ed mismo!<span class=\"s1\">So CicloZone approached me\u2026.. and boy am I glad they did! I needed accountability\u2026. I needed someone to report back to \u2013 because I am not good at reporting back to myself!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00a1Esta es la oportunidad perfecta para solucionar esto, ponerme en forma, estar m\u00e1s saludable y sentirme bien!<span class=\"s1\">This is the perfect opportunity for me to sort this out, get fitter, get healthier and feel good! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Entonces, \u00bfc\u00f3mo te va hasta ahora? Est\u00e1 bien, ser\u00e9 honesto. Dije que har\u00eda tres clases por semana en marzo. La primera semana, puse algunas excusas y logr\u00e9 unos 20 minutos. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tan rid\u00edculo es eso? Simplemente no pude entrar en la \u00abZona\u00bb (juego de palabras). \u00bfAlguien m\u00e1s se siente as\u00ed? \u00bfSimplemente no te atreves a ponerte en marcha? Es una locura, porque sabes que cuando lo hagas, \u00a1te sentir\u00e1s absolutamente incre\u00edble! \u00a1PERO ES EL COMIENZO!<span class=\"s1\">So how is it going so far? Okay, I\u2019ll be honest. I said I would do three classes a week in March. The first week, I made some excuses and managed about 20 minutes. How ridiculous is that? I just couldn\u2019t get into the \u2018Zone\u2019 (pun intended). Anyone else feel like this? You just can\u2019t bring yourself to get going? It\u2019s crazy, because you know when you do, you will feel absolutely amazing! BUT IT\u2019S THE GETTING GOING!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00a1Avance r\u00e1pido hasta esta semana y estoy ENAMORADO de CicloZone! Super\u00e9 cualquier barrera invisible que me estaba frenando (tambi\u00e9n el hecho de que mi marido segu\u00eda diciendo: \u201cSi no te subes a esa bicicleta, la venderemos\u201d). Creo que me preocupaba no poder hacerlo. En mi cabeza, cre\u00eda que las clases ser\u00edan demasiado \u2013 quiero decir, mira a los entrenadores \u2013 \u00a1todos est\u00e1n tan en forma atl\u00e9ticamente que seguramente no puedo seguirles el ritmo! Quiz\u00e1s estaba un poco intimidado. (Y perezoso, ahora que lo pienso).<span class=\"s1\">Fast forward to this week and I am in LOVE with CicloZone! I got over whatever invisible barrier that was holding me back (also the fact that my husband kept saying \u2018If you don\u2019t get on that bike, we are selling it\u2019) I think I was worried I wouldn\u2019t be able to do it. In my head, I believed that the classes would be too much \u2013 I mean, look at the trainers \u2013 they are all so athletically fit, I can\u2019t keep up with them surely?! Maybe I was just a bit daunted. (And lazy, come to think of it.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00bfPuedo decirles ahora \u2013 a todos los principiantes \u2013 que este no es el caso! Busque una clase con% de COL bajo para usted (las de bajo 70% son buenas) y vaya a su propio ritmo. No es una competencia, nadie te juzga, no debes desanimarte. Como dice Mel Thomas: alcanza el punto ideal y sentir\u00e1s que puedes lograr tu objetivo.<span class=\"s1\">Can I tell you now \u2013 to all the beginners \u2013 this is not the case! You go find a low COL% class for you (Low 70% ones are good) and go at your own pace. It\u2019s not a competition, no one is judging you, you don\u2019t need to be daunted. As Mel Thomas says \u2013 hit the sweet spot and you will feel like you can achieve your goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00a1Y lo hago ahora! Siento que con estas clases y el est\u00edmulo que me dan los entrenadores, puedo sentirme mejor, m\u00e1s saludable y en forma.<span class=\"s1\">And I do now! I feel that that with these classes and the encouragement that the trainers give, I can feel better, and I can feel healthier, and I can feel fitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bien, s\u00e9 que solo llevo dos semanas, \u00a1pero todav\u00eda estoy flotando con la serotonina de la clase de ayer! Quiero hacer otra m\u00e1s tarde hoy o ma\u00f1ana, y esa, amigos m\u00edos, ser\u00e1 mi tercera clase de la semana. La meta que me hab\u00eda propuesto; tres clases por semana. F\u00e1cilmente alcanzable para una persona no en forma, de mediana edad, cansada y muy ocupada. \u00a1Cu\u00e1ntas veces hemos escuchado \u2018\u00a1Si yo puedo hacerlo, t\u00fa puedes!\u2019 \u00a1Suena muuuy cursi pero es cierto! Si se me ocurre una l\u00ednea menos cursi, \u00a1te lo har\u00e9 saber!<span class=\"s1\">Okay \u2013 I know I\u2019m only two weeks in, but I\u2019m still floating on the serotonin of yesterday\u2019s class! I want to squeeze another one in later today or if not tomorrow, and that, my friends, will be my third class of the week. The goal I had set myself; three classes a week. Easily achievable for an unfit, middle aged, tired and very busy person. How many times have we heard \u2018If I can do it, you can!\u2019 Sounds soooooo corny but true!
