{"id":9430,"date":"2023-03-13T10:02:48","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T10:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciclozone.com\/blog\/why-ride-a-bike\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T13:59:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T12:59:06","slug":"why-ride-a-bike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciclozone.com\/es\/blog\/why-ride-a-bike\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 montar en bicicleta?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He sido ciclista toda mi vida: ciclista de \u00e9lite, ciclista de ocio, mountain biker, ciclista indoor e incluso spinner; los he probado todos.<\/p>\n<p>En los primeros a\u00f1os el ciclismo era simplemente algo que me encantaba hacer. Era lo m\u00edo, mi deporte, mi v\u00eda de escape. Sin embargo, a medida que he ido madurando y he estudiado el mundo del entrenamiento ciclista, me he dado cuenta de que lo que llevaba haciendo toda mi vida era, en realidad, lo mejor que pod\u00eda hacer por mi cuerpo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto me ha llevado por un camino de formaci\u00f3n ciclista, con el objetivo de ense\u00f1ar a la gente cuanto antes lo bueno que puede ser el ciclismo para el cuerpo y de subir a la bicicleta a tantas personas como sea posible para que entiendan exactamente qu\u00e9 ocurre fisiol\u00f3gica y psicol\u00f3gicamente cuando pedaleas.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f3mo responde tu cuerpo al ejercicio<\/p>\n<p>Desde un punto de vista fisiol\u00f3gico, tu cuerpo genera potencia, medida en vatios, para cualquier actividad que emprende. Esa potencia la produce a partir de uno o varios de tus tres sistemas energ\u00e9ticos: tu sistema aer\u00f3bico es el sistema de baja intensidad, que produce potencia utilizando ox\u00edgeno; tu sistema de lactato entra en juego a medida que aumenta la intensidad y empiezas a activar m\u00e1s masa muscular, convirtiendo el gluc\u00f3geno almacenado en los m\u00fasculos en energ\u00eda y potencia. Cuando alcanzas y superas el umbral de tu sistema de lactato con una actividad de muy alta intensidad, comienzas a producir potencia de forma anaer\u00f3bica, mediante una reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica en tu sistema de fosfatos.<\/p>\n<p>La intensidad de tu actividad y la forma en que tu cuerpo activa sus sistemas energ\u00e9ticos condicionan los resultados que obtendr\u00e1s de esa actividad, pero hay algo seguro: todos necesitamos tres sistemas energ\u00e9ticos sanos y potentes para ser personas completas, sanas y realmente fuertes.<\/p>\n<p>Muy pocas actividades te permiten activar estos sistemas energ\u00e9ticos con la intensidad necesaria para obtener resultados, principalmente porque hay una fuerza que act\u00faa sobre nosotros cada d\u00eda: la gravedad.<\/p>\n<p>Esto significa que cualquier actividad que se realice contra la gravedad genera fuerzas de cizalla sobre ligamentos y tendones al activarse los m\u00fasculos, ya sea al correr, saltar o levantar pesas. La gravedad, por naturaleza, impone un l\u00edmite a esas actividades y, con el tiempo, los efectos negativos de esas fuerzas de cizalla se notan en las articulaciones y los ligamentos.<\/p>\n<p>Cualquier actividad que pueda considerarse verdaderamente funcional y beneficiosa para el cuerpo humano debe permitir entrenar a alta intensidad limitando al mismo tiempo los efectos negativos de estas fuerzas de cizalla.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el ciclismo?<\/p>\n<p>Ahora bien, todos sabemos que la nataci\u00f3n est\u00e1 ampliamente reconocida como el mejor ejercicio para el cuerpo humano, ya que la flotabilidad del agua alivia los efectos de la gravedad y permite que m\u00fasculos, ligamentos y articulaciones se muevan de forma independiente, libres de esa fuerza.<\/p>\n<p>El ciclismo tambi\u00e9n puede clasificarse as\u00ed, porque estamos sentados durante largos periodos sobre la bicicleta con los pies sujetos a los pedales. Esto hace que, aunque la gravedad act\u00faa sobre nuestra masa, no lo hace directamente sobre nuestro cuerpo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto nos permite movernos con relativa libertad, sin las limitaciones de la gravedad, reduciendo esas fuerzas de cizalla.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, con los avances en medidores de potencia y tecnolog\u00eda, contamos ahora con la ventaja a\u00f1adida de poder calcular y controlar la cantidad de potencia que generamos mientras pedaleamos.<\/p>\n<p>Con el conocimiento de c\u00f3mo utilizar la cadencia y la intensidad para activar los tres sistemas energ\u00e9ticos principales, y sabiendo d\u00f3nde se sit\u00faa el umbral de tu sistema de lactato en t\u00e9rminos de potencia, descubr\u00ed que pod\u00eda optimizar el entrenamiento de cualquier persona para lograr el objetivo b\u00e1sico de la mayor\u00eda de quienes hacen ejercicio con regularidad: c\u00f3mo perder peso y ganar movilidad aumentando la potencia generada.<\/p>\n<p>El desarrollo de CicloZone<\/p>\n<p>Con la plataforma CicloZone sent\u00ed que pod\u00eda trasladar el disfrute y la euforia de una gran clase colectiva de ciclismo incorporando, al mismo tiempo, un sistema sencillo de datos de entrenamiento y conectividad, como el que utilizan los ciclistas de \u00e9lite.<\/p>\n<p>CicloZone es una plataforma verdaderamente h\u00edbrida.
