Ich wollte noch einen Schritt weiter gehen &#8230; also habe ich mir noch einmal angeschaut, worum es bei CicloZone geht.<span class=\"s1\">By January, I was really feeling the effects of not exercising properly for four months (other than walking &#8211; walking I could do for miles and miles \u2013 good job, given the crazy spaniel!), the effects of Christmas pigging out, the effects of living a sedentary lifestyle \u2013 and just generally wanting to improve my fitness again. Wanting to take it up a level&#8230; s<\/span><span class=\"s1\">o, back I went to have a look what CicloZone is all about. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Es schien einfach genug, also machten wir uns nach einer kurzen DM an Darren, um ihm unser ausgew\u00e4hltes Fahrrad zu zeigen und zu fragen, ob es geeignet w\u00e4re (was er best\u00e4tigte, dass es geeignet sei), auf den Weg.<span class=\"s1\">It seemed simple enough so, after a quick DM to Darren to show him our choice of bike and ask if it would be suitable (which he confirmed it was), we were on our way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ich habe die App heruntergeladen, mich angemeldet (im Namen meines Mannes \u2013 ich wei\u00df nicht genau warum, vielleicht um ihn zu ermutigen, auch seinen Hintern in Schwung zu bringen!) und wir haben unsere ersten Kurse abgeschlossen.<span class=\"s1\">I downloaded the app, signed up (in my husband\u2019s name \u2013 don\u2019t really know why, maybe to encourage him to get his butt into gear too!) and we completed our first classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">So, my thoughts after my initial three sessions:<span class=\"s1\">So, my thoughts after my initial three sessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our bike isn\u2019t gym quality \u2013 but for now it\u2019s actually OK!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You don\u2019t need to spend thousands of \u00a3\u2019s on a top-of-the-range, fully \u2018bluetoothed\u2019 bike in order to take part.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We both wear<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Fitbits so I\u2019m happy to have the readings from there for now to see how we\u2019re improving over time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Don\u2019t let your husband go through the classes and kindly \u2018choose\u2019 one for you!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>(He managed to do a 30-minute class for his first one back \u2013 picking me a killer of a 45-minute session).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In usual Darren style, the classes are SO easy to follow, just keep to the beat (he says, easier said than done with a manky knee!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Invest in some Bluetooth headphones because sweat will drip into your eyes and you won\u2019t be able to see your screen!<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019m starting with a couple of sessions a week, using the on demand service (mainly so I can pick what I want to do) and, at the moment, I\u2019m staying safe with the instructor I know.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Unser Fahrrad hat keine Fitnessstudio-Qualit\u00e4t \u2013 aber im Moment ist es eigentlich in Ordnung! Wir tragen beide Fitbits, daher freue ich mich, die Messwerte von dort vorerst zu haben, um zu sehen, wie wir uns im Laufe der Zeit verbessern.<br \/>\nLassen Sie Ihren Mann nicht durch die Kurse gehen und \u201ew\u00e4hlen\u201c Sie freundlicherweise einen f\u00fcr Sie aus!  (Er schaffte es, bei seinem ersten Mal wieder einen 30-min\u00fctigen Kurs zu absolvieren \u2013 was mich zum Killer einer 45-min\u00fctigen Sitzung machte).<br \/>\nIn \u00fcblicher Darren-Manier sind die Kurse SO einfach zu befolgen, man muss sich einfach an den Takt halten (er sagt, das ist mit einem sch\u00e4bigen Knie leichter gesagt als getan!)<br \/>\nInvestieren Sie in Bluetooth-Kopfh\u00f6rer, denn der Schwei\u00df tropft Ihnen in die Augen und Sie k\u00f6nnen Ihren Bildschirm nicht mehr sehen!<br \/>\nIch beginne mit ein paar Sitzungen pro Woche und nutze den On-Demand-Service (haupts\u00e4chlich, damit ich mir aussuchen kann, was ich machen m\u00f6chte) und im Moment bleibe ich auf der sicheren Seite bei dem Lehrer, den ich kenne.<br \/>\nIch wei\u00df nicht, ob es etwas verfr\u00fcht ist, nur sechs Monate nach der Operation direkt wieder mit diesem Trainingsniveau anzufangen, aber ich halte Sie auf dem Laufenden.  Ich habe den Fitnessvorteil auf jeden Fall schon nach drei Sitzungen gesp\u00fcrt, aber mein Bein, wo die Metallkonstruktion oben an meinem Schienbein sitzt, mag die 85\u201390 U\/min im Stehen nicht besonders und schwillt danach leicht an. Es ist fast so, als ob die Sehne an meinem Schienbein sich nicht dar\u00fcber freut, dass sie nach all den Monaten der Ruhe etwas richtig arbeiten muss \u2026!<span class=\"s1\">I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m a bit premature going straight back into this level of exercise only six months post op but I\u2019ll keep you posted.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve certainly felt the benefit fitness wise after only three sessions but my leg, where the metal work sits at the top of my shin, isn\u2019t too fond of the 85-90RPMs standing and I am getting some slight swelling afterwards.
