M\u00e4rz 2023<\/p>\n<p>SCHWINN AC Power<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcberblick<\/p>\n<p>Schwinn tr\u00e4gt wohl den bekanntesten Namen aller Bike-Marken im Fitnessmarkt und produziert bereits seit den 1960er-Jahren Rennr\u00e4der und Heimtrainer. Einst das Indoor-Bike der Wahl in jedem gehobenen Studio, hat die Marke in den letzten Jahren gegen\u00fcber der Konkurrenz an Boden verloren. Eingefleischte Fans werden Ihnen dennoch sagen, dass nichts sich so gut f\u00e4hrt und anf\u00fchlt wie ein Schwinn Indoor-Bike. Schauen wir es uns an\u2026<\/p>\n<p>St\u00e4rken<\/p>\n<p>Da ist zun\u00e4chst der Name. Schwinn steht seit Jahrzehnten f\u00fcr Qualit\u00e4t und Radsport. Der Einstieg in den kommerziellen Markt f\u00fcr leistungsgesteuerte Indoor-Bikes ist das AC Performance mit dem 4iiii-Dehnungsmessstreifen an der Kurbel und der Echelon-2-Konsole.<\/p>\n<p>Auch optisch macht das Bike einiges her. Das Design ist zwar klassisch und seit den 1990er-Jahren bekannt, hat sich jedoch bew\u00e4hrt, und durch den Rohrrahmen wirkt das Bike insgesamt moderner. Vertikale und horizontale Einstellm\u00f6glichkeiten an Lenker und Sattel sorgen f\u00fcr eine gute Sitzposition. Der Antrieb nutzt denselben Carbon-Blue-Riemen wie das Stages SC3 und ist damit wartungsfrei. Die Echelon-2-Konsole liefert w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt alle n\u00f6tigen Informationen \u2013 von der Leistung bis zu den RPM \u2013 und ist ANT+-f\u00e4hig, sodass sie sich mit den beiden gr\u00f6\u00dften Trainingsplattformen am Markt, Peloton und Zwift, verbinden l\u00e4sst.<\/p>\n<p>Schw\u00e4chen<\/p>\n<p>Das AC Performance mit 4iiii-Leistungsmesser kostet \u00fcber 2.000\u00a0$ und liegt damit auf demselben Niveau wie die \u00fcbrigen getesteten Bikes.<\/p>\n<p>Das Hauptproblem: Die Echelon-Konsole ist ausschlie\u00dflich ANT+-f\u00e4hig, was die m\u00f6glichen Anwendungen und Trainingsformen deutlich einschr\u00e4nkt. Das AC Performance versucht mit aller Macht, ein Stages SC3 zu sein \u2013 ohne es ganz zu erreichen. Der 4iiii-Leistungsmesser an der Kurbel spielt nicht in derselben Liga wie der Dehnungsmessstreifen von Stages, und ungenaue Leistungsdaten f\u00fchren dazu, dass Ihr tats\u00e4chliches Niveau kaum korrekt abgebildet wird. Bei der Verbindung zu kompetitiven Trainings-Apps wie Zwift oder Rouvy wird das zum echten Problem. Die Peloton-Anbindung ist in Ordnung \u2013 aber wer dieses Bike allein f\u00fcr Peloton kauft, sollte sich fragen, warum er nicht gleich das Peloton-Bike mit dem gro\u00dfen Touchscreen gew\u00e4hlt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Fazit<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr diesen Preis k\u00f6nnte Schwinn aus meiner Sicht ein deutlich stimmigeres Gesamtpaket abliefern. W\u00e4hrend die Konkurrenz relativ vollst\u00e4ndige L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr die Anforderungen des heutigen Marktes bietet, hinkt Schwinn noch etwas hinterher. Eingefleischte Schwinn-Fans lassen sich nat\u00fcrlich nicht umstimmen.
